The Idaho Law Review is Idaho's
journal of legal scholarship, and is the
only scholarly journal whose primary focus
is the law in Idaho and the Pacific
Northwest. For more than 40 years, the
Idaho Law Review has provided valuable
service for judges, practitioners, and
scholars around the country. As the
scholarly voice of the
University of Idaho College of Law, the Law Review is
found in the libraries of virtually every
American law school. Our articles have
been cited and relied on by state and
federal courts, scholarly commentators, and
practicing lawyers in Idaho and around the
country.
The Idaho Law Review publishes three
editions each year, a Fall Edition, a Spring
Edition, and a Symposium Edition. The
Student Board of Editors has exclusive
control over the editing and publishing of
the Review. A rigorous editing
process ensures that each submitted article
contains correct grammar, punctuation, and
citation style as set forth in
The
Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation
(Columbia Law Review Ass'n et al. eds., 18th
ed. 2005).
The editing process also allows students to
hone their editing and citation skills.
In addition to publishing articles, the
Review also presents a
live symposium on a timely legal topic each year
in the month of April. This symposium
brings together legal scholars and
practitioners for a day of presentations and
legal discussion.
